Accessibility statement
w&w mobile WC-Anlagen GmbH strives to make its website www.winter-wc.de accessible in accordance with the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG, German Accessibility Improvement Act) and the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetzverordnung (BFSGV, the associated ordinance). The benchmark is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA, and the European standard EN 301 549.
Compliance status
This website was built to be accessible from the ground up and was checked before publication: contrast ratios of at least 4.5:1 for text, full keyboard operability, visible focus indicators, descriptive link texts, forms with labels and error messages, a logical heading structure and a skip link to the content. Moving content respects the system setting “Reduce motion”.
Known limitations
- The background videos in the page headers are purely decorative, play without sound and have no subtitles. They carry no information that is not also in the text.
- Images that serve only as decoration are hidden from screen readers. Images relevant to the content carry alternative text.
- The rental shop calculates totals live. Changes are announced for screen readers; a full check with all assistive technologies is still pending.
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 12 September 2026 on the basis of a self-assessment using automated testing tools (including Lighthouse and axe) as well as manual keyboard and contrast checks.
