Orders and enquiries via this website
If you order portable toilets via this website or contact us, we process the data you provide (name, company where applicable, e-mail address, telephone number, site location, billing address, rental period and selected units) in order to check, confirm and carry out your order or to answer your enquiry. For collection by SEPA direct debit we additionally process your bank details after confirmation.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract). The data is not passed on to third parties unless this is necessary to carry out the rental, for example for driving and service logistics.
The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations stand in the way. We keep invoicing and accounting records in accordance with commercial and tax law.
Transmission of the forms
Contact enquiries and callback requests are transmitted in encrypted form to our web server and forwarded from there to us as an e-mail. The sending is handled on our behalf by our website service provider We Love 2 Design (Berlin) via a dedicated mailbox of its hosting provider Hostinger (data centre in Germany). A copy of the enquiry is stored briefly on the web server as a safeguard and deleted after processing. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the service provider.
Ordering via the rental basket hands your entries over to the e-mail program on your device. The message only leaves your device when you click Send there. Bank details are not collected on this website; you receive the SEPA direct debit mandate with our confirmation.
Storage in the browser
Your rental basket and the configurations you enter are stored exclusively locally in your browser (localStorage) so that your selection is retained when you visit again. This data is not transmitted to us and not evaluated. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.
Hosting and server log files
This website is operated on our behalf by We Love 2 Design (Berlin) on a server of netcup GmbH (Karlsruhe). When the site is accessed, the server processes technically necessary connection data (for example IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser type) in order to deliver the website and ensure secure operation. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Customer portal
The link “Customer portal” takes existing customers to the ordering portal of our software provider at wundw.wc-portal.eu. Login data is only processed there; the privacy notice of the portal applies.
Fonts
This website does not load any fonts from external servers. All fonts used are delivered from our own server. No connection to third parties is established in the process.
Cookies and audience measurement
This website uses no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics tools. For audience measurement we use the self-hosted, cookie-free software GoatCounter on our own server. It records the page accessed, the referring page, screen size, browser and operating system type and the country. The IP address is not stored; it is only used to derive a non-reversible count value for a period of 8 hours in order to recognise repeat visits. Attribution to you as a person is not possible. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in evaluating the use of our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). As no data is stored on or read from your device, no consent is required.
AI-generated content
Some of the image and video content on this website was created with artificial intelligence systems. No personal data of our website visitors is processed in the course of this. Further details in the notice on AI-generated content.
Your rights
You have the right of access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und für das Recht auf Akteneinsicht Brandenburg (State Commissioner for Data Protection and the Right of Access to Files of Brandenburg).
