FAQ

Short questions, short answers.

What customers ask most often before they call. The guide goes into more detail, and the phone gives you a binding answer.

What does a portable toilet cost in Berlin?

A standard toilet cabin costs €29.50 net per week on a long-term rental, or €110.00 net on a short-term rental for one to five days. The accessible cabin is €80.00 per week or €320.00 for a short-term job. Delivery and collection within the delivery area are included, and so is the weekly cleaning on long-term rentals.

How long can a toilet cabin be rented?

Short-term rental covers one to five days and suits parties and events. Long-term rental starts at a minimum of four weeks and can be extended week by week. There is no upper limit; on construction sites, periods of several months are the norm.

Is cleaning included in the rental price?

Long-term rentals include one service clean per week. For short-term rentals a service clean can be arranged on request, as the unit usually only stands for a few days.

How much space does a portable toilet need?

The standard cabin is 1.10 m wide and 1.20 m deep, so it needs a good 1.3 m² of floor space at 2.22 m height. The accessible cabin needs around 2.4 m² at 1.55 × 1.55 m. Access matters too: our service vehicle must be able to get within seven metres of the cabin.

Which toilet suits a construction site?

On construction sites the standard toilet cabin on a long-term rental is the usual choice. It needs no water or power connection and can be moved by crane hook as the build progresses. With several trades on site, an additional hand-wash station at the assembly point pays off.

How many toilets does an event need?

As a starting point, one unit per 100 guests for up to four hours. With longer duration, alcohol or a festival character the need rises sharply. Urinal stands absorb peak times without taking much space. The calculator on this site gives you a well-founded order of magnitude.

Does W&W deliver to all of Brandenburg?

Not to all of Brandenburg, but to a large part of it: from our depots in Stahnsdorf and Eberswalde we deliver to Berlin and the surrounding region, north as far as Oranienburg, Eberswalde and Angermünde, east to Fürstenwalde and Beeskow, south to Luckenwalde and Treuenbrietzen, west to Bad Belzig and Nauen. The rental basket shows whether your address is included as soon as you enter the postcode.

How quickly can you deliver?

That depends on the date, the quantity and the location. Call 0800 800 6700 and you get a binding answer for your date. Fixed delivery or collection times are agreed in advance and may involve additional costs.

How do collection and disposal work?

After the rental period we collect the units; collection can take up to ten days. You need not prepare anything apart from keeping the access clear. Cleaning, pumping out and proper disposal are entirely our job.

Does a portable toilet need water or power?

No. All four models work self-sufficiently with a closed tank system. Power is only needed for add-ons such as light or a fan heater, which you book if required.

Do you have toilet trailers for weddings and corporate events?

We rent single cabins, accessible cabins, hand-wash stations and urinal stands. For upmarket occasions we combine cabins with hand-wash stations and add-ons such as light and dispensers. Talk to us and we will suggest a suitable combination.

Can I rent online?

Yes. You put your selection together, enter the rental type, period and location and place the order. Payment is by invoice or, if you prefer, by SEPA direct debit. We check availability and the delivery area and confirm the order; with direct debit the amount is only collected after that. For short-notice dates, a call to 0800 800 6700 is the fastest way.
